Who is he?
1funkydj is better known as Paul Cousins and was born in Ashford,Surrey,England.

Beginnings
His love of electronic music started at an early age when he was introduced to Radio 1 and the Pete Tong Radio 1 show. Trying to embrace the early Dance culture he realised that he could DJ and bought his first pair of cd decks . Surprisingly he became quite good and his mix-Cds got passed around the schoolyard. He is still working hard on his DJ skills and learns something new everyday.

What has he done

He has done lots of mobile gigs and parties , these have helped him gain experience and knowledge of the dancefloor . He will be performing at his high Schools Concert in feburary.

Musical Style
House music is the order of the day but any variations on a theme will be thrown onto the turntables. He also loves his Trance, Funky house, electro, and even chillout. If it’s good I’ll play it!

The future

Maybe one day he will get the break through that he deserves and earn his right as a DJ. He is still to young to work in clubs and bars but could see him self working there at a later stage. The moment which a DJ dreams of is when there is 20,000 people dancing in front of you and you have the power to take them where they want to go
